With Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 6 now in full effect, players are seeing new Battle Pass tokens arrive. For those new to the game, Battle Pass tokens unlock new weapons, operator skins, and other additional content that arrives with each season.
Since there is a new battle pass this season, players will likely be hungry for more tokens. Luckily, getting Battle Pass tokens is as simple as playing the game, but below we detail exactly what you need to do.
How to get Battle Pass tokens in MW2
The best ways to get battle pass tokens in MW2 is to grind for them or buy them.
Grinding Battle Pass tokens is as simple as playing the game. The more you play and the better you do, the more chances you get to get a battle pass token. The important thing to remember is that all XP towards tokens counts, so don’t worry if you’re not the best player around.
If grinding isn’t your thing, you’re also able to buy battle pass tokens. The most cost-effective way of doing this is picking up a Battle Pass Bundle which nets you 20 battle pass tokens. If you buy a battle pass, you spend $29.99 but you get 1,100 CoD Points and 20 battle pass tokens.
We say this is better because a single token costs 150 COD points, meaning you’d need 3,000 CoD points to get the equivalent – which is roughly $30 as well – so with the battle pass you’d get points left over. It’s a great deal and we’d say it’s worth it.

Playing longer game modes like Ground War, Invasion, Warzone, and DMZ are optimal for farming Battle Pass Tokens in MW2. DMZ is the most efficient mode to earn tokens quickly, and going AFK in DMZ can still earn you tokens. So we recommend pairing this with a Double XP weekend.
During Double Battle Pass XP Weekends, if you stick to large-scale modes, you’ll get tokens much faster due to the extra experience. So make sure that you use those weekends to your advantage.

How to use Battle Pass tokens in MW2
To use the battle pass tokens, you have to go to the battle pass map on the battle pass menu. Each sector is locked until you use a battle pass token to unlock it. You can use these Battle Pass tokens to unlock a reward on the battle pass map. You can see the number of these tokens in the bottom right corner of the battle pass screen. The more tokens you have, the more rewards you’ll be able to unlock.
After you’ve successfully purchased every sector in a battle pass map, a new sector will unlock with more rewards. How you traverse the rewards map is up to you, but as with every new Call of Duty season, expect the map to change with each new season. Since this is the last season of the game, make sure to grab everything you can.
