The official launch of Diablo 4 is almost upon us and many are excited for Blizzard’s next game in the franchise. In early June, everyone will have access to the game. Like games of the past, Diable 4 has multiple release dates.
The June 6 release date for the game is when everyone gets access to it outside of an open beta. There are some, however, that get early access to the game on June 2. Are you one of those people? How do you get early access to Diable 4?
How to play Diablo 4 early
There is only one way to get early access to Diablo 4 and that is by pre-ordering the game. It is a little more than that. You only get early access by pre-ordering the deluxe edition or the Ultimate edition of the game.
If you want access to the full game early, you can purchase the deluxe or ultimate editions by going to your platform’s digital storefront. Purchasing the deluxe edition will cost you $89.99 while the ultimate edition will cost you $99.99.
Blizzard has released multiple early-access betas for players to try out the game with the last beta being the server slam. These betas allowed players to create a druid, sorcerer, necromancer, or rogue and play through the prologue and first chapter of the game.
What platforms get Diablo 4 early access?
If you want to get the early access version of Diablo 4, you will be able to get it on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S. Xbox One, and PC. All of these platforms have access to this ultimate action RPG experience during the early access weekend. Regardless of whether you are in Europe, Korea, or America, you will be able to access your beta rewards and move past Fractured Peaks in Kyovashad when it starts.
The PC specs are the same as the open beta weekends, so no need to worry about the minimum requirements or your internet connection if you participated in the beta.
Those who get early access to the game will be able to play it up to four days early depending on when you purchase the game. The official start time for Diablo 4 early access is June 1 in some time zones so make sure you know when the early access time starts for you.
Do not worry about the old level cap for the beta periods, the early access is exactly like the full game. Have fun going through the altars of lilith, side quests, and handling legion events.
