The Master Sword, a legendary blade renowned for its ability to seal darkness and defy the formidable Demon King Ganon, plays a crucial role in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, as the game commences, we discover that the Master Sword has been impaired, requiring Link to embark on a quest to restore it and claim its power once more. Fortunately, we have detailed information on how you can acquire the Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How do you get the Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

The Master Sword can be obtained by completing the Main Quest called Recovering the Hero’s Sword. However, you must do a few things before you can get it. First, you must go to the Korok Forest and assist the Great Deku Tree in defeating the Phantom Ganon in the Deku Tree Chasm. Then, once you defeat your enemies, return to the Musanokir Shrine using your Ascend ability and interact with the Great Deku Tree.

This will begin the start of your quest to recover Master Sword. After a few cutscenes and a flashback, the Great Deku Tree will give you a map of the Master Sword’s location. The Sword can be found embedded into the Light Dragon’s head.

Now that you know how to find Master Sword, getting it will be a bit hard. Before you go on your way to get Master Sword, make sure that you have two Stamina Wheels. The Light Dragon will be flying along the lower surface of the Hyrule Kingdom skies.

The best way to make your way onto the Dragon is to use the Skyview Tower closest to it. By now, you should already have your Paraglider. Next, you must use your Paraglider or other Zonai Devices to glide over to the Dragon.

After landing safely on the Light Dragon, you can begin pulling the Master Sword out of its head. If you don’t have two Stamina Wheels, this will be hard progress for you. After you pull the Sword out, this will symbolize the completion of the Main quest, and you will now be the proud owner of the Master Sword once more!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to get more Stamina Wheels?

You can get more Stamina Wheels in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in two ways. The first is by conquering Shrines and obtaining Lights of Blessing at the Goddess Statues. You can buy a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel with these Lights of Blessing. Or, you can seek out the Cursed Statue and exchange your Heart Container for Stamina Vessels if you haven’t already conquered your Shrines.

What quest do you get the Master sword from in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

The sword can be obtained by following the main quest line. The Main Quest is called Recovering the Hero’s Sword. Will grant you the sword as a reward.
