First, you must go to the Korok Forest and assist the Great Deku Tree in defeating the Phantom Ganon in the Deku Tree Chasm. Then, once you defeat your enemies, return to the Musanokir Shrine using your Ascend ability and interact with the Great Deku Tree.
This will begin the start of your quest to recover Master Sword. After a few cutscenes and a flashback, the Great Deku Tree will give you a map of the Master Sword’s location. The Sword can be found embedded into the Light Dragon’s head.
Now that you know how to find Master Sword, getting it will be a bit hard. Before you go on your way to get Master Sword, make sure that you have two Stamina Wheels. The Light Dragon will be flying along the lower surface of the Hyrule Kingdom skies.

Or, you can seek out the Cursed Statue and exchange your Heart Container for Stamina Vessels if you haven’t already conquered your Shrines.
