The Chimera (or Honey Badger) is worth looking into because of its versatility across the AR and SMG class range. What makes the Chimera special, and what we think is going to make it popular is the ability to exist between what is traditionally considered a submachine gun and an assault rifle, occupying a very desirable place within the meta. Here’s how to get the Chimera in MW2.

How to get The Chimera
There’s two main ways to unlock The Chimera in WW2 and Warzone 2. The weapon can either be bought or earned, the choice is yours. Firstly, you can get The Chimera by completing a weapon challenge. Secondly, you can buy a bundle from the Store.
The two bundles you can buy which include The Chimera are:
- Year of the Rabbit – The “Year of the Rabbit” bundle for 2400 CP ($20) contains the blueprint “Tokki”, which is the Chimera. You also get an Operator Skin with it too.
- Dark Skies – The “Dark Skies” bundle for 1200 CP ($10) contains a blueprint for the Chimera called “Darkcell”.
The primary reason you’d want to get these bundles would be The Chimera in our opinion, so it’s just about how committed you are to using this gun.
How to complete The Chimera weapon challenge in MW2 Multiplayer
To unlock the Chimera in Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer you need to get 2 kills with an assault rifle in 15 separate matches. That means you kill two people with any gun from the AR weapon class and throughout 15 different games. Simple really. You can quit matches after getting 2 kills and the progress will still count.

How to get The Chimera in DMZ weapon challenge
To unlock the Chimera in MW2’s DMZ you need to get the weapon from Building 21. Sadly, at the moment, no-one knows how to get into Building 21. However, Black Site missions and Strongholds are producing weapons with interesting codes on them at the moment, perhaps this is a clue as how to open it. Therefore, if you don’t own MW2 you will need someone who does to drop it for you to pick up in DMZ.
