There are tons of weapons for you to find as you go through the chapters of the Resident Evil 4 Remake. You can find everything from small pistols like the Blacktail to high-powered explosives like the Rocket Launcher. One of the fastest-firing guns in the game is the TMP. This submachine gun is easily able to tear through enemies with its fast fire rate. Because of this, it is very easy to lose control of this weapon as you fire it. Despite that, it may be worth adding to your collection. Here is how you get the TMP in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Is the TMP worth it in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

To unlock the TMP, you simply need to progress through the game to chapter 3. Once chapter 3 starts, you can purchase the TMP from the merchant for 10,000 Ptas. This early in the game, you shouldn’t have much problem coming up with the money, but you can always use the money glitch should you be running low on funds.

  • 2.00 Precision

Despite the precision being decent, the TMP is difficult to keep steady once you start firing it. As you upgrade the TMP, it will gain the following stats:

Overall, the TMP is a solid weapon for the beginning of the game but it quickly gets outclassed by almost every other weapon. You can use the TMP Stock to increase the precision of the weapon, but even that doesn’t help much. There are many other weapons in the Resident Evil 4 Remake for you to choose from including another SMG with penetrating bullets called the LE5. It is best to hold off on getting the TMP and spending the money on making your other weapons better.
