When it comes to weapon archetypes in Destiny 2, none are more loved than the hand cannons. Players love the feeling of being a space cowboy with their revolver in hand and one such hand cannon is sticking out as a must-have for collectors this season.

The Trust hand cannon has been brought back into the loot pool for Destiny 2 with the Season of Defiance and players are scrambling to get themselves a god-roll of it before it disappears again. Let’s go over how you can get your hands on Trust in Destiny 2.

Where To Get Trust in Destiny 2

Trust is the iconic hand cannon that is used by the Drifter in Destiny 2 and has a special look compared to many of the other hand cannons in the game.

While you won’t need to wait for the weekly reset in Destiny 2 to farm for this hand cannon, you will need to play the activity that most Destiny players despise the most, Gambit.

Since this is the Drifter’s hand cannon and he does run Gambit, it only makes sense that this is where you will find it. Luckily with the new focusing system, it is much easier to farm for Trust in previous seasons.

Now that you can spend your gambit engrams on extra rolls of Trust, it will be much easier to find a roll of it with some of the best perks in the game on it.

If you want to farm for the Trust in the most efficient way possible there are a few things you can do.

First, you will want to slap on the Prosperity Gambit mod to your ghost before you start to farm for it. This will give you an increased chance at having gear drop at the end of a Gambit game, which will can either be the Trust itself of a Gambit engram that can be used later.

Secondly, you will want to hoard your Gambit engrams and only use them for the new focusing systems. You can always regularly grab the engrams and receive a random item from the Gambit loot pool.

However, with the new focusing system, you can spend a few extra resources to turn that engram into a guaranteed Trust and farm for a god-roll that way.
