In Diablo IV, there are plenty of little objects, enemies, and usable items you can place your cursor on. With so many interactable objects in the game, there needs to be a way to highlight them all so you don’t miss out on anything.

Blizzard Entertainment has carefully crafted Diablo 4 with many dungeons, side quests, and features to make the game as great as it can be. Of course, not every feature exists and some stuff may have been left out. This guide will show you how to highlight all interactable in Diablo 4.

Can you highlight all interactables in Diablo 4?

Unfortunately, if you are hoping to highlight more than one item at a time, you can’t. While you can change many settings in the game like the size of subtitles, voice chat, and the emote wheel, you can’t change how the interactables are highlighted.

If you want to highlight an item, you will need to move your cursor over it. This is unfortunate because other games that share the genre have features like this added in.

Many open-world games and RPGs in general give you the ability to highlight all the items in your immediate vicinity. Even MMO games have this feature. Typically, the ability created a highlighted area where you can see all items you can interact with.

Perhaps Blizzard will change this option later on, but for now, the only setting you can change is the color an object gets highlighted.

How to change the interaction highlight color in Diable 4

By default, there is no color associated with highlighting an object in Diablo 4. If you want to highlight interactables, you will need to change the highlight color setting. This is done by going into the in-game settings. Once there, locate the gameplay tab.

In this menu, you will see an option labeled display player highlight. Toggle this option on. You will also see other options for changing subtitle font, target lock, screen reader, and sound effects. After toggling the display player highlight option to on, you will see the option to change the color beneath it. This option is great for some extra clarity about what is being highlighted.

After turning this option on, you will start seeing all the objects you highlight in a specific color. There are plenty of other options you can change and you can also rebind your keys.

Here is a rundown on how to change highlight color:

  • Go to the in-game menu
  • navigate to the settings menu
  • Go to the gameplay tab
  • Toggle display player highlight to on
  • Change the color of the highlight using the option beneath it
