In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, your bow is one of your most useful tools. Each bow you pick up is another weapon added to your arsenal. Distant enemies should fear your powerful shots.
Just like in Breath of the Wild, the bows in Tears of the Kingdom must follow the rules of limited ammunition and weapon durability. Gone are the days of having unlimited arrows. Can you craft arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
If you have run out of arrows and need to craft more, you will be unhappy to learn that you can’t. Arrows are not something that can be crafted in Tears of the Kingdom. The closest you can get to crafting arrows is combining them with materials using the Fuse ability.
Thanks to Link’s new abilities, you can make specialty arrows by fusing materials that you gather with an arrow before you fire it. To do this, start by holding down the ZR Button like you are aiming your bow.
While your bow is aimed, press the up button on the D-pad. This will bring up your materials. Use the right stick to choose the material you wish to use to the arrow. With this ability, you can make things like bomb arrows using Bomb Flowers or even fire arrows that release large fireballs.
You can also activate this ability while using a jump shot from your paraglider. Make sure to take advantage of all the resources you have to create interesting arrow combinations.
How to get more arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
If you need to get your hands on more arrows in Tears of the Kingdom, you won’t get them by using the Ultrahand, you will get them by using your Rupees. There are three ways to get more arrows in TotK; combat, exploration, and merchants.
Firstly, you can get arrows by defeating enemies and opening crates. Smashing pots like Link is known to do is another good way to collect arrows. If this doesn’t work out, you can take a trip to Lookout Landing.
In each of the game’s many towns, you will find a general goods merchant who is selling various items. These items typically include arrows. Arrows will usually cost you 20 Rupees per bundle of five so make sure you don’t go blowing all your money.
How to farm arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Since arrows are a resource you can easily pick up off the ground, there is a very efficient way to farm them in Tears of the Kingdom. First, you will need to find a group of enemies with an archer.
Once found, take out all the enemies in the area but leave the archer alive. Get just out of the archer’s range and it will continue to fire arrows at you. When you think you have enough arrows, pick them all up and go on your way. You can also perform the trick with a shield if the enemy stops shooting at you.
