Seeing how much FPS you’re getting in Diablo 4 is crucial for learning how well your PC is handling the game. This can help you figure out if you’re facing performance issues. In this guide, we will explain how to show FPS in Diablo 4 via the in-game option and third-party applications.

How can I see FPS in Diablo 4?

To see FPS in Diablo 4, all you need to do is press CTRL + R on your keyboard at the same time. This will make the in-game FPS counter appear on the screen, and you’ll be able to see it in the bottom left corner.

You can press CTRL + R again to see the current Latency instead of the FPS. And to make it all go away, press the buttons one more time. Unfortunately, you can not make the two appear at the same time.

Now, there are two downsides to the in-game FPS counter. First, there is no option to change its size. Second, you can not change its placement. While some players might find it fine, others would definitely want to move it somewhere else. If you belong to the latter group, you’ll need to rely on a third-party application.

When it comes to third-party applications, we recommend using the GeForce Experience App or AMD Radeon Software, depending on the GPU you’re using.

Both applications are excellent as they can help show FPS in Diablo 4. Furthermore, you also get the luxury of changing the placement of the FPS counter. If you want more information, you can enable the entire Performance Overaly, which displays information such as latency, GPU utilization, fan speed, and more.

If the number of FPS you’re getting is fine, then there is no problem with your PC. But if you face FPS drop issues or are not getting the right number; you must resort to methods such as updating GPU drivers and closing background applications while playing the game. After all, you don’t want to face performance issues while fighting a powerful boss like Ashava.
