How to unlock Accio spell Hogwarts Legacy
You unlock the Accio spell quite early on in Hogwarts Legacy via the Charms quest. This is one of the first main quests you’ll tackle upon your arrival in Hogwarts, so you won’t be stuck waiting too long to make use of this spell.
The only requirement to unlock the Accio spell is to complete the ‘Charms Class Quest’. This is a simple quest which shouldn’t trouble you in terms of difficulty.
This summoning charm summons an object into your character’s hand, pulling it towards you. Accio is one of four force spells that focus on pushing and pulling objects.
How to use Accio spell Hogwarts Legacy
To use Accio to its fullest, we suggest trying it while in combat and to solve puzzles such as Merlin Trials.
When you hold the spell, objects will float. When holding the spell, you can move the objects too. This means you can pull an enemy into close quarters and devastate them with another spell. Accio is used in combat to combat enemy defenses and leave them vulnerable to your attacks and hinder their movement.
There is an Accio minigame where you are introduced to your first charms lesson at Hogwarts school. During the lesson, you will be given opportunities to compete with other students and become the a master of using Accio with some ‘friendly competition’. This is a simple game that involves rolling around stones and scoring points.
Best uses for Accio spell in Hogwarts Legacy
Accio is fairly simple spell in principle, which is understandable given the fact you acquire it early on in the game’s main quests. Like we mentioned, this spell is perfect in combat to pull around vunerable enemies at your will and breaking through their shields. Accio is also perfect for grabbing collectibles, such as the Field Guide pages or other collectibles which you may find floating around the world ready to be added to your collection.
When used in conjunction with other spells such as Levioso, you have a massive amount of control lent to you in combat. Lift an enemy with Levioso, get some Basic Cast attacks in, and then pull them towards you with Accio to deal some additional blows.
