Each class in Diablo 4 has its own unique mechanic, which can help out players in many ways. As for the Sorcerer class, it has Enchantment Slots, which add two more skills for you to use. In this guide, we will explain how to unlock Enchantment Slots in Diablo 4.

How do you get the Enchantment Slots in Diablo 4?

To unlock Enchantment Slots in Diablo 4, you must reach level 15. When that happens, a quest will pop up on the map named Legacy of the Magi. In this quest, you must visit a Sorcerer named Mordarin, who will task you with recovering the Forgotten Codex.

To retrieve the item, you will need to go through a dungeon. After the quest is completed, the first Enchantment Slot will get unlocked. There is also a second slot that can be unlocked, but for that, you’ll need to reach level 30 and complete another quest.

After the slot gets unlocked, all you need to do is open the Skill Tree, access the Skill Assignment area, and choose a skill for the Enchantment Slot. Remember that whichever skill you add to the slot will have an added effect.

For instance, if you choose Spark, there will be a 12% chance to form Crackling Energy after you kill an enemy. Similarly, the Hydra skill comes with an effect that spawns a five-headed Hydra for five seconds after spending 300 Mana. You can have a look at the full list of skills, along with their Enchantment Effects, below.
