After unlocking Crucio and progressing through more of Hogwarts Legacy’s main story, you’ll receive another owl from Sebastian and gain access to the ‘In the Shadow of Time’ quest.
This sees the player and Sebastian return to Feldcroft, Sebastian’s childhood home. Once here, the pair will enter a catacomb in order to uncover an ancient relic. In search of a relic, you are confronted by Ominis. It is at this time that you’ll learn the Imperius Curse or Imperio.

Once at the end of the mission, the player will have the option to learn The Imperius Curse from Sebastian, which will then allow the player to take enemies under their control during battles.

Whilst this spell can prove harder than some to obtain and learn, the practical use of it is fairly simple. When you use the Imperius Curse on someone, they will fall under your command, and fight for you, allowing you to control them.
This can be useful in situations where you’re being swarmed by enemies. This way you can add some needed muscle to your battles.
