Player finds invisible teams in DMZ

In a recent upload to Reddit, it seems that some Call of Duty players are using a cheat to appear invisible in online gaming. Is this a new string of cheaters or is this just a glitch?
Invisible glitch or Cheater?
People will often find new and interesting ways of climbing up the ranking ladders in games like Call of Duty. This also includes adding cheats and mods to games, unfortunately. We have all seen instances of people using X-ray walls and aimbots. Activision is usually very good at anti-cheating and keeping these malicious players at bay, which then begs the question for these clips, are they cheating to be invisible or is the game genuinely glitched?
It seems the comments in the Reddit thread are divided, with other commenters such as Makumakuu insisting that “They are cheaters, and I’ve seen them quite a lot in DMZ. That’s not a glitch or whatever but real cheat. enough people posted about this on Warzone subs” and goes on to link to another video where the player is clearly aware that they are invisible to other players. The original video in the Reddit link has since been deleted
Other commenters have come to the defence of the seemingly invisible player such as Cjpack mentioning that “The amount of people that are quick to vilify OP not taking into consideration how glitchy this game is and how many false reports and bans there are… no way you can say with any amount of confidence op is a cheater with all these variables just from this clip.”
It’s no doubt that the anti-cheating systems that Activision and Infinity Ward use are the most up-to-date possible, but with thousands of players worldwide there are bound to be some things that slip through the cracks. Unfortunately from this clip alone, there is no real way to tell if the supposed “cheater” knew if he was invisible or not as it is only posted from the kill cam POV.
