The Dead Space game series is seeing a revival in 2024, with a remake set to launch coming out on the 27th of January 2023. With the game’s ties to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, will we be seeing the remake updating to newer ways of playing, like games passes. Considering the game’s release on Xbox Series X/S, is the Dead Space Remake coming to the game pass?

Yes, that’s right. Unfortunately for subscribers to the game pass and fans of Dead Space, the Dead Space remake is not coming to Xbox Game Pass.

Neither publisher EA nor developer Motive Studios have mentioned any plans for the new Dead Space 2023 release to be added to Xbox Game Pass. Find out more details about the game here.

Instead, Xbox and PC players will have to buy it outside of the subscription. Whilst this might seem unfair, it’s not uncommon for new games to be doing. Buying Dead Space Remake outright will ensure that you can play it now.

But are we likely to ever see Dead Space Remake on the Game Pass? We aren’t ruling it out…

Could Dead Space Remake be coming to the Xbox Game Pass?

There’s a possiblility that after the excitement of the initial release, Dead Space Remake will move towards the Xbox Game Pass.

9-12 months is the allotted window for other EA-published games. Therefore, it’s possible that the Dead Space remake will follow a similar timeline. Of course, with nothing official for us to report on, these are all speculations. Check out some interviews about new and original content in this remake.

It’s also possible that the Dead Space remake will never come to Xbox Game Pass, but trends of other games moving to the Game Pass allow for 9-12 months, if we’re going off trends.

So there you have it, we won’t be seeing Dead Space Remake on the Xbox Game Pass initially, but there’s a chance it will follow in the footsteps of other titles and move their eventually.
