Diablo 4 is coming out 6th of June 2023, but we’ve got two beta testing windows to look forward to before that. Coming this March, fans will be able to try out Diablo 4 in an Early Access and open beta. But who has access to this, and what platforms is Diablo 4 coming out on? Is Diablo 4 on older gen consoles like Xbox One?
Well, the good news is having been in development for quite sometime, and first announced at Blizzcon 2019, Diablo 4 will be coming to both older and current console generations.
Will Diablo 4 be on Xbox One?
So, will Diablo 4 be coming to older generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox One? According to the official Blizzard page of Diablo 4, yes! Diablo 4 is available now for pre-order on Xbox One, and is set to have a version come the release date.
This shouldn’t be a surprise, considering the game was announced all the way back in 2019. However, it’s nice to see the older, yet still graphically viable consoles with perfectly good performance still getting releases.

But what about the beta? Can you play the Early Access and open betas for Diablo 4 on Xbox One?
Is Diablo 4 beta on Xbox One?
Yes, Xbox One players will be able to test out the game in the beta phase this March.
We’ve got two betas coming our way in March, those who have pre-purchased Diablo 4 will receive Early Access to the Open Beta from March 17–19. On the following weekend, the Open Beta will be available to everyone from March 24–26.
If you’re wondering who’s got access, Blizzard has made sure players on all platforms can enjoy both the Early Access beta and the open beta, as they are available on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
What classes are in Diablo 4?
Diablo IV will launch with five classes— the Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorceress.
Will there be more than 5 classes in Diablo 4?
Five playable classes have been announced, but fans are suggesting that a Paladin character may return. The latest Diablo 4 trailer features an army backed by Inarius, marching into Hell with shields bearing the symbol of the Zakarum, the religious organization from Diablo 2. Based on those Zakarum symbols, fans believe it’s likely that Diablo 4 will bring us the return of the Paladins.
