Is Disney Speedstorm free to play? Gameloft has a knack for making free-to-play games since many of the games the company makes are for mobile. In the past year, the devs at Gameloft created Disney Dreamlight Valley which is a game players could get early access to by purchasing a copy.

With the game already released, let’s find out if Disney Speedstorm is adapting to a free-to-play model and when will this be exactly?

Is Disney Speedstorm free to play?

The short answer to this is no, the game is currently not free-to-play. The devs confirmed that the game is built to be free-to-play however the game is currently in a paid-only early access phase.

Through their website, fans of the game are directed to a section that shows the early access editions with their subsequent price too – this confirms that the game is currently not free-to-play yet

However it is likely that the developers will make the game free-to-play eventually when they move out of the early access model to prep for it’s full launch. We’re unsure at this moment of time however as to when this will be.

During the early access period, players will be able to download different versions of the game known as Founder’s Packs.

The Founder Pack edition will get you access to the game and get you additional rewards such as tokens, extra characters, and skins for both the racers and cars.

When will Disney Speedstorm be free to play?

However at this moment early access is being prioritised currently which contains a paid system to get access to the game.

The general assumption is that Gameloft will soon release the full launch of the game which it’s then expected that Disney Speedstorm will be free-to-play for most fans interested in the Disney racer.
