Are you looking to play Disney Speedstorm with your friends in local co-op? There aren’t many games nowadays that allow players to play locally with their friends. Instead, most multiplayer games focus on the aspect of online multiplayer and making sure games have crossplay. Like most kart racing games, Disney Speedstorm does have multiplayer. You will be able to jump in with your friends and challenge them to a race as your favorite Disney characters. The only question that remains is if Disney Speedstorm has split screen.

Can you play split screen in Disney Speedstorm?

It isn’t very common for games to have split-screen multiplayer nowadays. Thankfully, if you are looking to play local multiplayer with your friends on Disney Speedstorm you can, but there is a small catch. Split screen works in a specific way depending on what system you are playing the game on.

Those who are playing the game on PC, PS5, & Xbox Series X/S, will be able to play split-screen multiplayer with up to four players. In other words, you and three friends can all play together on the same system. You can also play single-player races against bots. Those who are playing the game on PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch, will only be able to play split-screen with two people. In other words, you and a friend can play together on one of those systems.

While it is a shame that the local multiplayer is limited on the last-gen systems, at least you and a friend can play the game on the same system instead of needing to each own a copy of the game.
