While many fans are focused on Zelda’s big role in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, others are curious if a lesser-known character could make their first appearance. Fi has been hinted at as being present in the Master Sword and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom could be the time for her big reveal. Let’s go over if Fi is in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Will Fi Be In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

As of right now, Fi is not confirmed to appear in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, there is some good evidence that could hint at Fi making her appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

We have been able to tell that Fi is most likely in Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild through Zelda making mention of hearing a voice in the sword. We can also hear Fi’s theme play and the sword light up during specific occasions in the game.

The first hint that players received about Fi appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is by looking at the state of the Master Sword in the most recent trailer for the game. The Master Sword does appear to be in an un-salvageable state. However, it does still seem to be alive as it still shines brightly where it isn’t broken.

Take this fact and combine it with the voice line of Zelda asking for someone to lend Link their strength and we can see where the theory is coming from. However, Fi has still not appeared on any character lists for the game.

However, having Fi appear out of the master sword would not be the craziest thing that has been shown about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom so far. The spirit of the Master Sword being set free does pale in comparison to making custom vehicles to get around the world.
