We know what you’re thinking, 3,000 Rupees, plus 30 bundles of wood is a lot to lose if Link’s house has been forgotten and is still standing since the calamity. We have the answer to if his house is still around for you.

It is difficult to see from the quick teasers and blurs of it in the Nintendo Switch game trailers but it does seem that Link’s house is still standing. It seems the Breath of the Wild sequel has let us keep our little home although, in some bad news, the state of repair it is in now is still up for question. Let’s hope we can use the Sheikah Slate or the teased robots and constructs to repair and rebuild like the towers in the previous game or we may be entering a dungeon in our own home.

Buying this house from Bolson for the steep steep price of 3,000 Rupees and 30 bundles of wood initiated by the Hylian Homeowner Side Quest leading to the Ground Up quest. The building comes with a Weapon Rack (somewhere to store the beautiful Master Sword)  that Bolson gives Link as a housewarming gift as well as other upgrades.

Now it is no Hyrule Castle but this quaint little house in Hateno village near the Myahm Agana Shrine is one of our fan-favourite gameplay features in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild turning the open world game into another Nintendo staple, Animal Crossing for a short period.

Who knows maybe our champions and friends will return to have a happy housewarming as we return to Link’s house in the newest addition to the Zelda franchise before we have to fight off more bosses and enemies. Although having afternoon tea around a table with Ganondorf, The ghost of the King and maybe a Goddess while eating tiny cucumber sandwiches, Monster Cake, and some dubious fairy tonic with other ingredients sounds like a perfect day!
