Overwatch 2 is the second coming of the popular Blizzard shooter game that is similar to games like Team Fortress 2. Unlike other Blizzard games, in Overwatch 2 you select from a list of heroes to do battle with. Whether you choose a new hero or one carried over from the first game, you will enter a team-based game mode that will require you to worth with your team to complete an objective.
Gamers from all over enjoy this beloved game and the many heroes it has to offer. As the years have passed, Overwatch 2 has changed and become a game that more and more new players are enjoying. The next iteration of Overwatch 2 is called Invasion and it brings some pretty decent changes.

Will Overwatch 2 come to Steam?
Yes! Overwatch 2 will finally be coming to Steam on August 10, 2023. The PC platform will finally see the game become available on a different launcher than Battle.net. Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment said that the game will be coming to the platform, meaning that there will now be no more barriers for PC players.
Gabe Newell, Valve’s president, also stated, “Gamers will have another platform where they can play a beloved game that utilizes the capabilities of Steam, and developers will benefit from the effects of having the talented team at Blizzard helping us evolve our supported features and functionality for Overwatch 2.”
Overwatch 2: Invasion will also include PvE story missions and a new core PvP game mode that has never been seen. The game is available to wishlist before its launch on August 10 so the Overwatch Community can prepare. There will also be a list of Steam achievements for players to obtain.
There are more new types of gameplay experiences to be had and adding the choice of Steam to the list of platforms will help players find new teammates as well as increase player engagement. Overwatch 2: Invasion will also come with new maps that you can invite people off your Steam friends list to look at. There is bound to be even more in-game surprises later on.
