Detective simulator game Shadows of Doubt sees you investigating the crime-filled streets of a procedurally generated world. Each case and world is unique, which makes for an interesting and fresh experience for everyone. However, Xbox owners may be curious to know if they can enjoy the game via Game Pass.

If you’re waiting to see if you can become a private eye on Xbox, we’ve put together a guide on whether or not the game’s coming to Game Pass.

Shadows of Doubt is not on Xbox or PC Game Pass. It appears as if the game will remain on Steam, at least until it’s announced the game is coming to Game Pass. Without an official confirmation from developer ColePowered Games, the game will more than likely stay on PC.

However, it is available to play on Steam Deck. Players can at least solve crimes on the go with the handheld device.

Is Shadows of Doubt on Xbox?

To be on Game Pass, the game would first have to be on Xbox. As it is not on either the Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One, the game is not going to be found anywhere on Game Pass. The team at ColePowered Games has yet to announce that the game will come to either console. So, currently, you’ll only be able to pick it up on PC.

With that being said, a few of the developer’s previous games have been released on Xbox in the past. So, if Shadows of Doubt were to be released on Xbox, an announcement would have to come later down the line.

A demo of the game was released on PC before it entered Early Access. As neither was released on Game Pass, it’s one sign that the game will unlikely be released on Game Pass.
