The latest zombie open-world survival game, The Day Before, is not far from the shelves, offering would-be buyers a bit of deadly, post-pandemic American fun.
This new third-person shooter features online PvP and Co-op but is The Day Before cross platform? The answer is yes, although some are reporting a later release for certain platforms.
The game being cross platform is great and all but the more pressing question is whether or not The Day Before will feature crossplay.
Is The Day Before cross platform?
Yes, The Day Before is a cross platform game, available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
As the new zombie game takes advantage of Unreal Engine 5, this may be one of the reasons are not currently releasing the Day Before on the PS4 or Xbox One.
Is The Day Before crossplay?
It still is not clear whether or not The Day Before will feature crossplay support, however, it is a modern trend allowing players the freedom of platform for online gameplay.
It is always a real shame when a developer/ publisher limits what its audience can enjoy, so while we do not know at this stage, we are confident this could feature crossplay in the future.
Is The Day Before a PC-only game or will it be on Xbox?
There is some talk of The Day Before launching on PC first but we haven’t seen any concrete evidence as of yet.
For those on the PC platform, you will be able to take full advantage of Ray Tracing in The Day Before, granted you have the correct hardware.
