The Talos Principle was a game beloved by many for its incredibly hard puzzles and cast world filled with secrets. While the first game was released on PC originally, it didn’t take long for it to find its way to being released on the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The sequel to the game, aptly named The Talos Principle 2 was revealed during the PlayStation Showcase. The next puzzle game in the series looks to be filled with even more mind-bending puzzles, but will it also get released on the PS4 like its predecessor?
Will The Talos Principle 2 be on PS4?
Croteam is creating The Talos Principle 2 and they revealed the first trailer for it. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that the game will release on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The PlayStation 4 did not appear on the list of systems that The Talos Principle 2 will be released on.
The Talos Principle 2 will continue on with similar themes and puzzles as its predecessor. In the game, you will play as a robot in the future and confront themes of the nature of the cosmos and faith versus reason as you aim to reach a mysterious megastructure.
Along the way, you will encounter a deeper story that will have you questioning how you can avoid repeating humankind’s mistakes. The game will be filled with surreal environments and a fantastic world design that may not be able to run properly on last-gen systems.
Odds are, The Talos Principle 2 is coming to the next-gen consoles to avoid graphical and processing issues.
