Does Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have crafting?

Breath of the Wild started a massive trend where players combined items together to fling themselves across the map or traverse Hyrule’s many environments. As shown in the image above, you will be able to use Link’s Ultrahand, combined with new abilities, to craft strange contraptions. While some of these can be cars, some trailers have shown flying devices that are reminiscent of hovercrafts. You probably won’t even miss Epona.

The idea of creating your own vehicles is nice, but is there a more traditional crafting system in the game? There could also be weapon crafting in Tears of the Kingdom. On the Tears of the Kingdom website, there is mention of the ability to fuse items to Link’s weapons to make them more powerful. You can also use this ability to change the function of certain weapons.

In one of the game’s many trailers, Nintendo has shown off how Link can use the Fuse ability to combine a stick with a rock to create a new type of weapon. While this isn’t the most traditional crafting system, it is a way of creating new weapons that have never been seen before.
