League of Legends 12.10 has hit the PBE, now that 12.9 has gone live and players are now able to test all the major changes coming to the upcoming patch. This is going to be a big one, especially since it is going to be the big LoL Durability update designed to make champions actually survive in this crazy death filled game.

What to expect from the LoL patch 12.10?

The main thing about the LoL Patch 12.10 is that it is a durability update. It should allow players to stop dealing incredible damage while offering defensive items more value for everyone who gets them, except for those that grant shields or heals. Expect to see plenty of things regarding champion armor and magic resist values getting improved, along with basic health, health scaling and more. Meanwhile, plenty of sustain based items and penetration items are getting toned down.

While the Durability Update is the core of the patch, there are also the usual updates coming to the game. Riot Games revealed plenty of new skins, including a new High Noon theme. There is a Hign Noon Samira and Tahm Kench, and there are darker versions of the High Noon skin line for Twitch and Viktor.

Lol Durability Update – Potential changes coming

The LoL Durability update coming in the 12.10 patch is massive, hence the need to give it its own section. Based on the PTR changes, we can expect a lot of system, changes, champions changes and item changes. Let’s go through some iconic ones. We won’t mention the exact values as they are always subject to change. So, a general rule of thumb on what to expect will suffice for now.

Oh, and think of a champion that has any form of heal and shield and chances are it’s nerfed. We list a few examples below.

  • Mountain Soul shields are weaker.
  • Ocean Soul health per stack and general heal reduced
  • Bruiser self-healing and shielding nerfs. Examples include Xin Zhao, Yorick, Udyr, Illaoi, Warwick, etc.
  • Some Enchanter theme supports are nerfed. Bard, for example, has a weaker max heal. Yuumi heals nerfed too. Sona, Senna and Seraphine nerfed. Thresh lantern shield nerfed too. Reneta Rell, Nautilus, shields nerfed too.
  • Fighters like Yasuo and Yone have weaker passive shields. The same goes for Viego and Vi.
  • Sustain mages nerfed – Sorry Vlad, lad. Viktor’s shield nerfed. Vex shield etc, Swain, Sylas etc. Lissandra ult healing down. Fiddlesticks W, etc.
  • ADC nerfs – Kaisa ult shield, Kindred healing nerfed, Aphelios sustain etc.
  • Penetration items, – Void Staff, Lord Dom’s Last Whisper,  etc.
  • Healing items – Seraph’s Embrace, Knight’s Vow, Mikeal’s Crucible, Redemption etc.
  • Defensives – Sterak’s Gage, Bloodthirster,  Gargoyle’s etc.
  • Mythics – Immortal Shieldbow, Divine Sunderer, Eclipse, Sunfire Aegis, Locket of the Iron Solari, etc.

Once the full LoL Patch 12.10 patch notes are out, you will see for yourself how hard everything is nerfed. Please keep your eyes peeled for more information on the PBE until it goes live towards the final week of May.
