Igrexion is the second Lost Ark T3 Guardian Raid and the second of raid level 5. This guide will cover all of the mechanics, tips and tricks you need to tackle this fearsome predator. Although Igrexion does not have a raid wipe mechanic, he can still be a tough challenge.

Guardian Raids can be entered solo or with up to three other players, the battle is scaled for the number of players in the party. Everyone in your party will need to be item level 1340+ to take on Igrexion. If you need more players, you can use the ‘find party’ or ‘matchmaking’ features to quickly group up.

Lost Ark Igrexion Guardian Raid Mechanics and Tactics

First up, we’ve included a few general tips to help you take on Lost Ark’s Igrexion.

  • Debuffs– In all of Igrexion’s three phases, he will apply different debuffs to the players. We strongly recommend having a Paladin or Gunlancer in your party as they can clear these debuffs.
  • Patterns – Igrexion’s attacks for the most part are pretty telegraphed and he is certainly not the toughest fight you will have had so far. You will want to focus on dealing damage to his sides as the majority of his attacks are in front of or behind him.
  • Battle Items – Panaceas are your best friend for this one regardless of party composition. As usual you will also want to bring along HP potions and flares to locate Igrexion. Whirlwind grenades are also useful for this fight.
  • Igrexion is weak to water damage.

Phase 1

  • Darkness – Igrexion applies a stacking darkness debuff to players on hit. Each stack of this debuff reduces the player’s vision further. We recommend holding onto your panaceas for now.
  • Evolve – When Igrexion begins to glow golden and the area around him begins to surge red and gold, he is transitioning to phase 2. Unlike Helgaia, you cannot interrupt this evolution. Igrexion will release a large shockwave when this evolution finishes so you will want to keep your distance.

Phase 2

  • Slowing Aura – A large ring of white light surrounds Igrexion applying a stacking slowing debuff to any players in the AOE. This debuff can be cleared with panaceas but again, we recommend holding onto them for now. You can instead clear the debuff stacks by moving out of the slowing field for three seconds.
  • Stagger – When Igrexion is trying to channel the slowing aura, a tornado of white lighting will begin to circle around him. You can interrupt the channelling of this ability by hitting Igrexion with stagger abilities and whirlwind grenades at this time. Scrappers and Artillerist’s are useful at this stage if you have them or a stagger Gunlancer build.

Phase 3 – At 25% HP

  • Burning – This debuff can stack up to five times and has a timer of twenty minutes! Multiple stacks of this debuff will shred through your health so make sure to keep an eye on how many you have and use a panacea at four or five stacks.
  • Superheat – This is a stacking debuff that increases the amount of damage received from Igrexion’s attacks. Again, make sure to use a panacea when you see this debuff stacking too high as it can lead to you being one shot. These are also ideal times to work with your team if they have a debuff cleansing skill.
