Lost Ark is a game that focus on ARPGS style mechanics, combining it with a rich and very expansive list of characters, each filled with its own identity and style. You can take a class and call it your main, taking on a variety of content like PvP, ed game PvE raids, solid dungeons, open world farms and more. Not to mention the games use a variety of daily and weekly systems that get your farming currencies to help progress your character and get or upgrade your items. If end game PvE or PvP is not your thing, then there is quite a lot of side content you can do. There are a lot of collectables, such as Mokoko seeds that get your rewards. Also, you can collect special currencies like Amethysts and get yourself some pretty epic mounts, pets and other comfy content. Perhaps you would rather be the policeman of the seas, taking on pirates in community events at set times of the day with your friends, guilds, or random players you meet on your server.
