Madden 24 will add new features and update older aspects of the series. The latest entry has smarter AI, better graphics, and more, so it’s a highly anticipated release. 

Early access has already begun for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, but it’s not yet available for everyone else. If you’re wondering what time this game will be made available to the public, look no further. 

When does Madden 24 start? Broken down by region

As confirmed by EA on the official website, Madden NFL 24’s official release date is August 18, 2023. If you’re a fan of the series, this is when it becomes available. 

Madden 24 Release Time – North America US

However, Madden 24 does not technically release on August 18, despite that being the official start date. Much like a movie that releases on a Friday, it is available on Thursday evening. Here are the timings for the release:

• Pacific Time Zone (PDT): 5pm on August 17
• Central Time Zone (CDT): 7pm on August 17
• Mountain Time Zone (MDT): 6pm on August 17
• Eastern Time Zone (EDT): 8pm on August 17

Madden 24 Release Time – Europe and the UK

On August 18, Madden 24 will go live at 1am BST in the UK. At that time, gamers over there will finally be able to check out the latest from EA Sports. Other key start times to know are:

• Coordinated Universal Time (UTC): 12am on August 18
• Central European Time (CET): 2am on August 18
• British Summer Time (BST): 1am on August 18

Madden 24 Release Time – South America

Madden 24 comes out at 4am GMT-3. Other time zones include:

• Greenwich Mean Time -3 (GMT-3): 4am on August 18
• Brasilia Time (BRT): 9pm on August 17

In Asia, Madden will be available at 9am KST on Friday, August 18.

All Madden players beginning their journey on August 18 or 17 will have access to the game at the same time. There is Early Access, but that came a few days early. On launch day, everyone will begin playing at the same time. 

Does Madden 24 start at different times?

No, Madden 24 will not be available at different times unless you have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition. In that case, Early Access kicked in a couple of days ago, but those players all have the same start time. This is true regardless of if you are playing on a PC, a PlayStation 4, or an Xbox Series X.

Do you get Madden 24 early if you pre-order?

All of that is for the Standard Edition of Madden 24. Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition have been available. If you did that, things changed. That gave players Early Access, which allowed players to get on the gridiron on August 15. The start times remain the same, though. 

For Early Access, the first time anyone was able to play was August 15 at 12am EST. 

Pre-ordering the Standard Edition (which is available on console stores, Steam, and the Epic Games Store) of Madden won’t grant you access until August 17 at 8pm EST. If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition right now, you can begin playing. 

EA Play subscribers (or EA Play Pro) can get a 10-hour trial of early access, which will take you through the release time. 

What is available when Madden 24 releases?

Ultimate Team is returning once more. The fan-favorite mode is back and has everything it’s known for including exciting challenges, incredible cards, and so much more. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition of the game came with pre-order bonuses NFL Marble Bills gear, Madden points, and a Josh Allen Elite player item for the mode as well. MUT also grants players a pack with two strategy items for their lineup. 

Superstar mode is replacing Face of the Franchise mode on next-gen consoles. It allows you to take control of a single created player to start a journey through the NFL. You can play with advanced realism on either offense or defense. 

Superstar Showdown is a mode that allows you to take this created avatar into real game action with other players within the same mode. It is multiplayer and requires the internet. You can take a deep dive into the world of Superstar by playing with and against other Madden players and their avatars. For next-gen consoles, this will be crossplay. 

The next-gen versions also have skill-based passing with smarter AI, where you can control passing with accuracy or power. SAPIEN technology has also been introduced. It makes for accurate player bodies, thus making tackling, passing and more a lot more realistic.
