Seeing as Nintendo promised that the booster pack will see its time until the end in 2024 it gives a rough indication of when we will see Wave 3.

We know for a fact that the game DLC will be launching this winter. Nintendo has now confirmed that the new tracks will release on December 7th of this year, the day before The Game Awards.

Possible Wave 3 Map Data Mine

While Wave 2 is up and going data miners have already looked into the predictions for the upcoming wave 3 and beyond.

It’s an indication that these maps may appear in the booster course for wave 3 and beyond!

To recap what maps may enter the booster pack they are as follow:

  • London Loop (Tour)
  • Peach Gardens (DS)
  • Boo Lake (GBA)
  • Rock Rock Mountain (3DS)
  • Berlin Byways (Tour)
  • Waluigi Stadium (GameCube)
  • Merry Mountain (Tour)
  • Rainbow Road (3DS)
  • Maple Treeway (Wii)
  • Vancouver Velocity (Tour)
  • Bangkok Rush (Tour)
  • Sunset Wilds (GBA)
  • Singapore Speedway (Tour)
  • Amsterdam Drift (Tour)

It would be worth keeping an eye on as previous data mines by established dataminers have been proven to be correct!

What Has Been Added To The Game So Far?

The following DLC courses have been added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so far:

  • Paris Promenade
  • Toad Circuit
  • Choco Mountain
  • Coconut Mall
  • Tokyo Blur
  • Shroom Ridge
  • Sky Garden
  • Ninja Hideaway
  • New York Minute
  • Mario Circuit 3

These were added in separate ‘cups’ entitled the Turnip Cup, Propeller Cup,  Golden Dash Cup, and Lucky Cat Cup. It’s unclear what future courses could be titled, but there’s hope that we’ll get future tracks from places such as the Nintendo DS, the Game Boy Advance, and other systems. Hopefully a future Nintendo Direct sheds light on this, giving us more information on where to expect our next fix of Mario Kart and what we can expect from a future Mario Kart DLC wave.
