Despite MLB The Show 23 having yet to reveal an official release date for its new game, you can expect one to arise in the next coming weeks as baseball season starts up again.
Release Date Prediction: March 28th, 2023
Seeing that the 2023 MLB Season will commence on March 30th, the release of The Show two days prior would make sense. Plus, this is something they did last year as well.
It’s also unlikely that The Show 23 will release on the Friday after Opening Day (March 31st). They will likely want to launch their new game before the start of the season.
Another release date possibility for The Show 23, could be the Friday before the season starts, which is March 24th. This was actually the case for MLB The Show 21, and is typically how sports games will operate with new game releases.

Usually with sports video games, there is typically some consistency around the given time frame for when they target. This is usually the case with FIFA and even F1 games.
MLB The Show 22 was released on April 5th, 2022. Since the 2022 MLB Season started on April 7th, it made sense for why The Show selected early April a year ago, and don’t be surprised if they did something similar for The Show 23.
