In Destiny 2, you’ll need a steady supply of Mod Components to make sure you never miss out on buying any weapon mods you could need. In fact, Mod Components are intrinsic to the Destiny 2 experience. They allow players, such as yourself, to buy mods from the Gunsmith. But if you’re lacking in mods then you’re not going to get far when it comes to decking out your weapons. Thankfully, that’s why we’re here.
To get yourself a nice steady stream of Mod Components in Destiny 2, you’ll need to complete Gunsmith bounties. You can find these bounties that are available for purchase in the Tower from the Gunsmith. These various bounties are easy enough, all you need to do is defeat enemies using specific weapons with some having specific requirements, like a certain amount of kills in a row without dying or killing a certain number of enemies in a specific time frame.
If you really want, you can also get Mod Components by dismantling Legendary Weapons. So if you’ve got any legendary weapons you’re not using, you might as well smelt it down and get something more useful out of it. You can also dismantle them for Glimmer and Legendary Shards.
