Modern Warfare 2 Leaks Suggest Return of Infected Mode
Outrun The Infected.
It’s the time of year for Call Of Duty leaks! That’s right, we have some Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Leaks to take a look at.
An as-of-yet unannounced game mode for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has leaked. The leak comes from a UK-based data miner who has priors in leaking content for the series and thus should be still taken with a grain of salt.
Even if the leaker has previously been right, it doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily always right. Still, let’s take a look at the new Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 leaks.
Infected Mode Returns To Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2
As you can see above, the leaker released an image of a gas mask over a biohazard symbol which many fans have taken to mean that Infected mode is returning to Call Of Duty with Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Infected mode last appeared in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) and places one player as the infected who runs around a map and kills other players to turn them into members of the opposing team. It’s up to the opposing team to survive as long as they can and take out the eventual horde that will be rushing their way.
The last two Call Of Duty games (Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War & Call Of Duty Vanguard) didn’t feature this game mode, making the return a rather welcome surprise to a lot of players. It’s obviously unconfirmed if the leak is accurate, and if the mode is coming at launch or after, but we’ll likely know sooner rather than later.
