When Does The Battle Pass Start For MW2?
When Do We Drop?
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been out for a while now, and players are bolting their way through the content included in the game.
The fact that the campaign released early if you pre-ordered the title certainly didn’t help, and it’s led to people asking when does the battle pass start for MW2?
Luckily we have the answers you need to know about the battle pass release date, along with exactly how it will function.
Battle Pass MW2 Release Date
The battle pass for MW2 launches relatively soon, on the same day as Warzone 2.0 and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season One. That date is November 16th. It’s unclear exactly how long each season will last though, but what we do know is that usually, the Call Of Duty seasons come with weapons to unlock, new weapon skins, new general skins, and new attachments for your weapons.
There’ll be both a free battle pass and a premium battle pass option, with the premium battle pass costing roughly £10.
How Will The Battle Pass Work?
From what we know about the battle pass, it’ll work across both Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Call Of Duty Warzone 2.0. The games will share a battle pass system, and buying the battle pass in one game will also purchase the battle pass in the other game.

This also boils down to content being shared across the games. Some unlocks in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season One will also be unlocks in Call Of Duty Warzone 2.0, and if you unlock them in one game, you’ll unlock them in the other.
Is The Battle Pass Worth Your Money?
If you’re not a hardcore player of COD titles, you might not even be familiar with the battle pass. It’s a standard system these days that rewards players with special unlocks as they level up in ‘tiers’ of the pass.
Whether or not the MW2 battle pass is worth the money for you depends heavily on how much Call of Duty you play. If you’re planning on getting your money’s worth out of Modern Warfare 2, play a decent amount of Warzone, and fiddle around on COD Mobile, then you should be good.
The future of COD is looking a lot more interconnected than it ever has before. Since the battle pass can now be used in more places than before, the value will only increase, assuming you can afford/are willing to pay the price.
