When Is The Next MW2 Free Weekend?

Many fans have been on the fence about switching to MW2 since its release. A lot of driven away by the $60 price tag and wonder if what is offered behind it is really worth it. Luckily there is a way for you to try out the game thanks to the upcoming free weekend that MW2 is having. This will give you access to all of the multiplayer modes available in the game as well as the Raid series. Let’s go over when the next free weekend will be coming to MW2.

When Is MW2’s Next Free Weekend?

Calling it a free weekend is a bit of an understatement as MW2 will be free to play starting on April 19 and running through April 26. This makes it more of a free week for MW2 rather than a weekend.

By taking advantage of this, you will have access to the full list of multiplayer maps and modes, including all that was added with season 3. You will also be able to earn any of the new weapons and battle pass rewards that can be earned for free.

This week-long event will allow anyone curious about MW2 to fully experience the game to their heart’s content. They can then decide after the event if they want to pick it up for themselves.

It should be noted that any progress made during the free play weekend will carry over if you choose to buy the game. So you don’t have to worry about losing any progress you make with your weapons should you choose to buy MW2.

Even if you don’t choose to buy MW2 after the event, Warzone 2 will always be free to play and has plenty of content to offer itself. It was just updated with a new Gulag map as well as the return of the Resurgence game mode.
