It’s that time of year again, we are only a couple of months out from the release of NBA 2K23. All we can think about is who the best players are going to be in the next installment. 

This is a list looking at who we think is most likely to feature in the top ten players, for the upcoming game.

After being named the MVP of the NBA finals it’s a pretty safe bet to assume Stephen Curry will knock Giannis Antetokounmpo off the perch for best player in the game. 

While long-term stars and modern legends like LeBron James will continue to feature very high up, maybe not as good as they once were but still being able to showcase their class.

The list will also look at who the newcomers to the top will be after, after a strong showing last season in the NBA.

We believe the top ten will look something like this: 

• Stephen Curry – 97 OVR
• Giannis Antetokounmpo – 96 OVR
• Joel Embiid – 96 OVR
• Nikola Jokic – 96 OVR
• Kevin Durant – 96 OVR
• LeBron James – 95 OVR
• Luka Doncic – 95 OVR
• James Harden – 94 OVR
• Devin Booker – 93 OVR
• Jayson Tatum – 93 OVR

Obviously, these are just predictions; however, leaks have pointed towards Stephen Curry taking that number one spot. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we know for certain, with a reveal surely inbound. Although we could see two players both being 97 rated, which would be amazing.

When Is NBA2k23 Rating Reveal?

Typically, player ratings are revealed around a week or two before the release of the actual game itself.

Since NBA2K23 is scheduled for a release on September 9, 2022, it’s likely the NBA 2K23 ratings will be revealed at some point at the end of August.
