The Raid series is something a bit new for Modern Warfare 2, pitting a team of four players against difficult AI and puzzles that need to be solved. These missions are normally quite challenging and offer some interesting rewards to anyone that managed to complete them.

It seems that the Raid story is not over quite yet as the newest episode is slated to release with season 3 of Modern Warfare 2. Let’s go over when you can expect to play Episode Three of the Raid series in Modern Warfare 2.

When Does Episode 3 Of The Raid Release For MW2

Although fans are on the edge of their seat to see the continuation of the Raid story, they will sadly have to wait until the mid-season update of season 3 to get the next part of the Raid. The new episode will be joining the game alongside some of the new core maps.

While we don’t know exactly what the plot of this episode of the Raid is, it has been said that it follows up on the events of the MW2 campaign. A small portion of the official blog post mentions that Task Force 141 is still on the hunt for the group that has a primed ballistic missile.

Since this season is taking place mostly in Al Mazrah, we could see the return of both Alejandro and Valeria. The tension is high and the stakes will be even higher once the new episode drops.

If you have not followed the story of the raid so far, you have the first half of season three to play the first two episodes. While they are challenging, it is a good idea to get yourself up to speed on the story before diving into episode three.

While you wait for the new episode of The Raid to drop, make sure to check out the new Gulag map in Warzone 2. It might hold some secrets about the new raid within it.
