New World’s full launch is almost here. The upcoming Amazon Games MMO is due to drop on September 28, and while the game is about to go live, Amazon has mentioned a New World pre load is available on September 27.
New World pre load – When can you pre download New World?
You can pre download New World from 08:00 PT, 11:00 ET, 16:00 BST, and 17:00 CEST on September 27. Once we get to that time, you can find that you can begin installing the game from that point on. We are not too sure how big the download is; however, the New World system requirements state that New World is roughly 50GB in size.
If you purchased from Amazon, you will need to follow these steps before you can pre load your game on Steam.
- Open Steam and log in to your Steam account you want to redeem New World on.
- Select Games and then head to the Activate a Product on Steam.
- Insert the code you have received from Amazon into the new text box.
- Upon activation, find New World in your Steam library and then pre download the game.
While it is quite nice we are getting a New World preload; it is bad news for players will slow download speeds. New World is 50GB, and the pre load gives less than 24 hours for some regions to get the game New World predownloaded.
Amazon Games recently announced the New World countdown, letting every region know when the servers go live for each region. New World release time for Europe is at 08:00 CEST, meaning you only get 15 hours to make the most of the New World pre load hours.
