New World Langauge Servers

Update: 23/09/2021 – Amazon Games has released the information on some of the servers and their preferred language settings. Here are the updated New World Server languages. Be aware most servers have no recommended language meaning unspecified servers are free for alls. Moreso, if Amazon Games have given a server to another language, they also recommend English speakers move there. Furthermore, it is worth noting these language servers largely affect EU servers, except for a few dedicated Spanish servers spread around the world. If the server is not in Europe, we will mention it.

  • Karkar – Polish
  • Jotunheim – Italian

New World German Servers

  • Albraca
  • Elysium
  • Ganzir
  • Silpium
  • Utgard

New World French Servers

  • Lyonesse
  • Nysa
  • Bakhu
  • Ife
  • Melinde

New World Spanish Servers

  • Bengodi – EU
  • Kor – EU
  • Irkalla – SA
  • Tuma – SA
  • Svarga – SA
  • Silha – US East
  • Lilliput – US West

Original Story

One of the only sad parts about the New World Server list is that there is very limited information on language servers. MMOs are incredibly popular in Europe, and you only have to go to World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV to find that out  There are quite a lot of Spanish, French, German and Portuguese players, who tend to have their own servers because of how large the player base is.

However, Amazon Games have not properly informed those communities of their language servers. The New World Twitter accounts replies are filled with them answering questions about language servers. Many players are asking about New World German servers, New World French servers, and more  The answer to fan questions goes along the lines of ‘some servers have recommended languages for those communities. However, the fully published New World servers list doesn’t specify which ones.

We have reached out to the New World press team to try and get answers to which of these servers have got recommended language options for those communities. If we hear answers from the New World team, we will update the article when we get that information, or when the New World servers go live and we can see for ourselves.

In our opinion, these New World German servers and New World french servers and other main languages should be published. They are very large communities and should be able to decide on a server before launch like the rest of the world. You only need to look at recent history to see that WoW Classic 2019 launched without Spanish language servers to realize it is an avoidable mistake. There were no Spanish servers, forcing Spanish communities on large English speaking ones or scattered around in small groups. Eventually, Blizzard did opt to make Spanish servers, so those broken communities could finally unite on a Spanish server. Releasing this information earlier could stop history from repeating itself again.
