When you get to max level in New World, you need to start relying on some of the trade skills to get yourself decent end game legendaries. One of the most high profile materials that players need is New World’s Amsodeum, one of the core crafting materials for plenty of crafting recipes. Here we teach you all you need to know on Asmodeum and how to get it.
What is Asmodeum?
Other than having slight parallels to the name of popular MMO streamer, Amsongold, and the Jewish demon king, Asmodeus, Asmodeum is one of the most highly desired materials. The material is a forgeable bar made of other high-quality rade items, which combine together to make a T5 crafting material.
When you forge an Asmodeum bar, you can start stockpiling pieces to craft various 170-200 crafting skill items. In fact, the item is part of the all-important items like the Voidbent armor sets, regardless of the heavy, light, or medium versions of the set. Players can also use Asmodeum in Jewelcrafting and Weaponsmithing, with examples like the legendary craft, the Voidbringer’s Rapier, and other trade skills. As you can see, it is a highly valuable time that contributes to plenty of strong end game item recipes.
How to get Asmodeum in New World?
To farm Asmodeum, you will need to gather the following materials and meet the following conditions.
- 5x Orichalcum Ingot – mined from Orichalcum deposits
- 1x Tolvium – Rare drop from Orichalcum deposits
- 1x Cinnabar – Rare drop from Orichalcum deposits
- 1x Obsidian Flux – T5 Supply Container drop
- 2x Charcoal – smelt some wood
- Minimum Skill smelting 200
- Smelter Tier 5
As you can see, plenty of the resources come from Orichalcum deposits, which require a mining skill of 175. Furthermore, the game requires the player to get lucky while mining the nodes, which means that the resources are rare and in demand. Not to mention resources like Tolvium and Cinnabar are used in the aforementioned Voidbent armor set and other legendary weapons and armor. So, the demand for rare items is there for both direct item craft and materials craft like New World’s Asmodeum.
If you are looking to farm Asmodeum, then we highly recommend getting yourself a mining luck set. The higher your luck and the higher your mining skill will increase your luck chance. Having a high luck chance is important to make your Orichalum farming routes much more efficient.
