How to wear New World Golden Rage Armor and other Twitch drops / Preorder skins
Here is how to wear your cosmetics in game, including twitch drops, store, and pre-order cosmetics.

During New World’s beta test period, Amazon Games created several promotions that allowed players to get exclusive beta test skins. The first of the lot was the Golden Rage armor skin, a heavy-looking golden plate armor skin set. Furthermore, the Open Beta offered players the opportunity to get the Verdant Trapper skin line, while the full launch offers the Vinespun set for watching ten hours of release footage.
Now that the game has gone live, you should be able to get a hold of the New World Twitch drops skins. Here’s how.
How to change skins in New World
If you have purchased any New World skins from the cosmetic store, have any bonus skins from Twitch drops, or have any pre-order, you can apply them to your character. Once you manage to get in-game, you can open up your character’s gear equip screen and then apply it.
To do so, right-click on the piece of gear you want to change the skin for. It will then open a menu of all the skins in the game that you can change. If you have one of the skins you can change to, then you can select it, and it will automatically apply it. If you want more skins, you’ll need to visit the in-game store or get more skins from events like Twitch drops, Prime Gaming or cosmetic packs in the pre-order.
How to get the Golden Rage Armor skin in New World
The New World Golden Rage armor skin was a skin line available to get through Twitch drops from the New World closed beta at the end of July and early August. If you have not partici[pated in the event, you cannot get the skin in-game.
If you did participate, make sure you have redeemed the skin in your Twitch account’s drop inventory. If it is in your inventory, then you should be able to get it in-game. See the above section on how to apply the skins in the game.
How to get the Verdant Trapper Skin in New World
The Verdant Trapper skin is the twitch drop skin that was available in the New World open beta at the start of September. You can check your twitch drop inventory to make sure you have the skin. If you do, make sure your Twitch account and Steam account are connected to get the skin on your character(s).
How to get the Vinespun Weapon skins
The Vinespun Weapon skins are currently available by watching ten hours of eligible streams through to October 12. After that, you’ll need to claim the skins in your Twitch drops so you can redeem them in the game.
