New World patch 1.1.1 launched today, offering players a plethora of fixes in the official notes. What they failed to mention, by design we imagine, is there’s a giant turkey. Yep, a giant turkey, taking over the land of Aeternum. Players are now grouping up to kill a giant turkey, called Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death. The legendary turkey lord allows players to unlock a new food material with a new New World luck food recipe.
Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death
Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death is the name of the giant turkey boss roaming Aeternum. Players can group up to fight it, and those who successfully kill it will get a new recipe called the Roasted Monsterous Turkey Dinner, which you need Monstrous Turkey Leg to make.
To defeat the boss, you’ll need to be wary of the attacks. Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death has three main skills that you’ll need to know tactics.
- Lazer beam
- Peck
- Exploding Egg
The Lazer beam is going to require the user with the aggro to put their shield up and withstand the attack. If not, get ready for a healer to heal you. The other key tactic is the exploding egg. Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death lays eggs at the base of the model, which later explodes and leaves behind fire. It is a channelled beam from Turkulon’s eyes, so it is easily telegraphed when it is happening. Try not to stand too close to it when they go off.
When you eventually kill the great beast, you will get rewards.
The new New World luck food
There is a new New World luck food that players can make courtesy of our new Turkey overlord. And that meal is Roasted Monsterous Turkey Dinner, players who want the new New World luck food can craft this Roasted Monsterous Turkey Dinner. The main ingredient you need comes from farming this boss.
When Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death, falls to your prowess, it will guarantee to drop a Monstrous Turkey Leg This is the most crucial ingredient to the new New World luck food recipe.
- 1x Monsterous Turkey Leg.
- 5x Potato.
- 3x Cooking Oil.
- 1x Parsley.
- 1x Sage.
- 1x Rosemary.
- 1x Thyne.
When you get round to crafting it through the following ingredients and Tier 5 kitchen, you’ll earn yourself a new 5% luck food buff for 40 minutes. In fact, it is one of the best new world luck foods in the game right now. So, get hunting your giga turkey and feast on its Thanksgiving meat.
