If you’ve been following any New World news or hopping into the realm of … yourself, you know that the game hasn’t been short of bugs and errors. We’ve already seen @mm_loginservices_internalservererrorexception and @mm_loginservices_TooManyRequestsException errors and now there’s a third to complete the trifecta – @mm_connerr_rep_timeout.

This connection error is plaguing New World players in the most annoying way possible, in where sufferers can hear in-game players move around but are stuck at a loading screen, on the verge of getting in. This frustration has sparked many to seek a fix for the @mm_connerr_rep_timeout error and hopefully, we should be able to help.

Below, we’ll be listing some possible solutions to the @mm_connerr_rep_timeout so you can get right back into New World and to grinding those levels, ready for your next raid.

How to fix New World error @mm_connerr_rep_timeout

The first possible fix for the @mm_connerr_rep_timeout error is to flush the DNS on your PC. To do so, run Command Prompt as an administrator and type in the following in order hitting enter after each string;

  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /renew
  • ipconfig /flushdns

After doing so, try logging back into New World to see if the error has been fixed.

The second solution that we suggest is to change DNS server settings. To change these go to your Network and Sharing Center within Network and Internet and change adapter settings. Open the properties of your preferred connection (wired or wireless) and click on either IPv4 or IPv6. Again, open the properties of these and enter DNS under the advanced tab. Once in here, note down your current DNS settings just in case and delete them. In their place, enter the following, save and exit:

  • For IPv4 – 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
  • For IPv6 – 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844

Launch New World back up and see if your problem is gone.

The third fix, again related to DNS, albeit a more simple one, is if you’re using a DNS adblocker, disable it. This has caused some problems for players so always worth a try if you’ve got one installed.

The fourth and final potential solution is to use a VPN. This is because the @mm_connerr_rep_timeout error is related to network issues thus meaning using a VPN could bypass this and get you straight into the game.

And that’s all the fixes we’ve got in the locker for the @mm_connerr_rep_timeout error. We hope one of the above solutions fixed your issue but if not, there’s always the New World forums that might come to the rescue.
