Amazon Games has published a new New World server queue size, helping players find a new home. Since patch 1.0.3, New World has implemented server transfers, with every region getting access to character transfers. But, if you’re not sure about a new home, the new New World server size page might help you out, which you can take a look at here.

New World Server Population

The New World server size page shows all the servers in New World for every region. The page is typically accurate, taking into account the live population size of the servers. The categories are broken into low pop, medium pop, and high pop.

From what we can tell, low pop is sub-1000 players, the medium is between 1000-1499, and high pops are 1500 or higher. Amazon Games only consider a server full pop if the server is likely to have a server queue size during peak times.

Be aware that the New World server size page should only be seriously considered during your region’s peak times. Some servers like Midgard in EU Central is considered a low pop server. However, it most certainly isn’t a low pop server before the server transfers, with it being one of the big ten servers since launch.

Examples like this are an indicator that taking a look at the page at peak times is worthwhile. Alternatively, you can take a look at the NewWorldstatus website since it details fairly accurate active players on the server and somewhat accurate new world server queue times. Use both the Amazon page and this to gather information to inform your transfer better properly.

New World Faction Size

Sadly, the New World server size doesn’t indicate how many characters belong to a faction. If you are looking to find a server that suits your preferred faction needs, then you might need to roll on that server and ask around. The last thing you want to do is use your only free server transfer token and find out your server is low pop or your preferred faction is dead.

Over on Reddit, there are a few threads detailing server faction dominance. Note that these tend to only be for NA, but if you’re a US reader, feel free to look at these threads before deciding where to move to.
