The New World end game is here for many players, and most of the swarm is out there chasing void ore to get themselves the Voidbent set. While it is great for tank players or those who love dexterity and strength, it leaves a lot to be desired for mage builds. So, what are people doing to find their BiS armor set at the end game? The answer to that is the New World Shadewalker armor. We go through and explain what the set is, along with what you need to craft the items.

What is the New World Shadewalker armor set?

The Shadewalker armor set is an end game armor set that players with 185 armoring can craft. By all means, it isn’t exactly a legendary set, but it can certainly be made with 600 gear score in mind. The craft allows players to make 600 gear score light armor, which has access to plenty of different New World attributes. You can get strength and cont on your gear, maybe even Focus and Cont. While the armor set has some unfortunate RNG to crafting it for your playstyle, it is one of the only valid ways to get gear for a mage who desperately wants to keep their medium or light armor status for the 10-20% damage buff or 10% CC bonus.

However, if you are opting to go this route, there are a few attributes you’ll likely want. The three modifiers you want to fish for is the:

  • 12 Constitution, 8 Intelligence.
  • 12 Intellect, 8 Constitution.
  • 20 Intellect.

It is no Voidbent, as each piece of Voidebent offers players a 25 constitution buff, but, for now, it will do for mages.

It means in theory you can get 100 Intelligence max, or 40 Intellect, along with 60 Stamina if you get five pieces of the same attribute value. However, we recommend fishing for the 20 Intellect pieces, as you can craft a Voidbent piece or two for the constitution for your build. You might get lucky and get all five pieces with Int on straight away, sometimes it might take you a while a long and expensive grind to achieve it.

Also, this item set is okay for light armor archer and musket players. Instead, you’ll be fishing for Dexterity, and Dexterity and Constitution pieces. You’ll find the premises is near enough the same for dex builds as it is for the mage Int builds. Albeit, there is a Voidbent medium set you can craft that you can use aswell.

How to get Shadewalker armor in New World?

New World Shadewalker armor is a craft you can unlock when you reach 185 armorsmithing. The gear it offers ranges from 500-600 gearscore, and it entirely depends on the materials you want to farm. This New World armor set takes lots of different TierV material, offering players different gear score upgrades based on the rarity of which TV item they use.

If you’re serious about crafting the 600 gear score version of the armor, then you’ll want the best materials for the job. This includes Phoenixweave, Runic Leather, and Asmodeum. Adding these three pieces of gear is going to get very expensive unless of course, you get gear created through the duping bug

However, no matter what tier material you use, you’ll need the following requisites per craft.
