Online hero shooters have been a popular genre for years now, and Paladins is a great free-to-play option that is available on a wide variety of different platforms. Since the game can be played on pretty much anything, many players are probably wondering if the game is cross platform or not. Well, the short answer to that particular question is yes, but there are a few different things you’ll need to do first. Even so, it’s nice to know that you can play with other people whether they’re playing the game on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch.

Luckily, Paladins does include cross platform support, though it hasn’t been an easy road to get there. As you may remember, Sony has a history of being a bit stand-offish when it comes to crossplay features, though they’ve been a bit more forthcoming in recent years. It was back in 2019 when the update finally came through that would allow users on all different platforms to play together at last.
How to Play Paladins Cross Platform
When you started playing Paladin, you should have created a username that is unique to the game, rather than the platform you were playing it on. In the game’s social tab, you can use your friends’ versions of these unique usernames to add them to your friend list. Then it’s simply a case of adding them to your party or inviting them to a game. In general, you can play with random other players without having to do anything at all.
Does Paladins Have Cross Save/ Cross Progression?
As well as allowing for cross platform play, the game does have some cross save features as well. As long as you link your platform-specific account to your Hi-Rez account, all of your cosmetics and other unlocks should show up no matter what platform you’re playing on. Just make sure you’re using the same Hi-Rez account in all instances first.
