Path of Exile has been out for just over a month now, giving players the chance to properly dig their claws into this free-to-play action RPG. But as of the 8th of October, there’s been a new patch that has aimed to fix a variety of bugs.

All of these bugs were noticed and brought to attention by the community. There’s also been a few general fixes to console specific issues. A few changes to various creatures in-game. But we’ll go all the main changes in this article.

Console specific changes

A few changes have been implemented which only affect the console versions of the game. This includes adding access to unlimited Hideout Decorations through the Decorations Tab in both Personal and Guild Hideouts. As well as a few console specific bugs that have been smoothed out, these include:

  • The order of Stash Tabs to not be saves.
  • The Tradeboard filter to reset between searches.
  • The Subterranean Chart to not display Sulphite.
  • The Metamorph Vat unable to be activated.

Also fixed, a client crash that could occur while Beastcrafting.

Scourge improvements

The Scourge itself has been adjusted, with Scourged items and the Scourged map changed. Scourged items are no longer be able to generate downsides that would directly counteract their upside. For example, an item with “Added Physical Damage” will not be able to generate “Deal no Physical Damage” as a downside.

The Scourged Map modifier that causes you to shift into Nightmare on reaching maximum Blood now has a slight drain of Blood over time, though the amount of Blood lost on Killing a Scourge Monster has been reduced to 0.4% (previously 0.5%). It also now causes you to lose all Blood when you shift out of Nightmare.

General bug fixes

Among all these changes, there’s also been a huge patch to fix a series of bugs. You can see the full list of bug fixes here on the official forum page.
