Following the success of the first two games, Starbreeze Studios – the developers and creators of the series – have made an announcement that 2023 will be the “year of Payday” from what we can gather in the teaser trailer. So, that means we can expect the highly anticipated sequel to the popular crime-heist game this year. But what is the exact Payday 3 release date? Unfortunately, we have nothing other than Starbreeze’s own comments to go off, and an exact date has not been arrived at yet. For now, here’s our predictions.

We saw Payday 1 come out on the 18th of October. Then Payday 2 was released 10 years ago now on the 13th of August 2013. So, what does this mean for Payday 3? Well, it might be fair to assume that the newest game will fall in the second half of the year like its predeccesors.
Plus, from the looks of the trailer, which is really only a teaser, its likely that development is not entirely finished for the newest Payday game. So, our prediction for the release date is from the 10th of July to the 12th of September.
In Payday 3, we’ll see a new story that brings back the original crew of Chains, Dallas, Hoxton, and Wolf as they emerge from “retirement”, returning to the life of crime in the face of a more “digital age” than last we saw them. This’ll probably mean new gadgets and other exciting new upgraded pieces of tech to use.
