Phantom Blade 0 revealed with outstanding action and intense fighting

Sony revealed the upcoming game Phantom Blade 0 during the PlayStation Showcase. The game is being created by S-Game along with Cruel Man Studio and was revealed with a rather long trailer showcasing some of the game’s intense and unrelenting combat.
Opening with beautiful music, this soulslike game is very reminiscent of Sekiro. The story appears to involve a character who is dying soon as the opening statement stated “what would you do if you had 66 days to live?”
Many boss battles and enemies were revealed with the game mechanics seeming very similar to other games in the genre. There was even an epic battle on a moving carriage.
It is safe to say that Phantom Blade 0 is going to be more than your average soulslike game and will give players a run for their money. Many of the larger enemies revealed looked to be much tougher than your standard Souls enemies. One enemy even had a lion canon on his arm. If that doesn’t scream out-of-the-bow we don’t know what does.
There are also many mechanics that players will be familiar with such as parrying, blocking, and dodging. Phantom Blade 0 also seems to be taking a page from Sekiro with traversal as the character is seen doing many flips and flying across the environment in a very timely manner.
No release date has been announced for the game but odds are it will be coming out next year since it is still earlier in development. The trailer did reveal that Phantom Blade 0 will be released on the PS5. There was no mention of the game coming to PS4 as well. We will continue to add more information as it is announced.
