The day is finally here, Pokemon Legends Arceus was released after a long and highly anticipated wait. Now that it’s out though, the Pokemon completionists within all of us, wants to scour every inch of the Hisui region. We want to – as the motto goes – gatch em’ all. In fact, filling the world’s first Pokedex is at the core of this new Pokemon game. And to be expected, not all of the Pokemon are just going to be wandering around waiting to be caught.
And in a game all about evolving and getting the strongest and best Pokemon. One of the things all us Pokemon fans are always eagerly awaiting when a new game comes out are potential new forms, Pokemon and evolutions. So when Legends Arceus released the many new different Pokemon, one of the ones we didn’t expect both ourselves and fans to love was the little wooden happy-eyed Voltorb. Seeing this gen 1 Pokemon, one that rarely got any form of attention, given a new form, new typing and design, well we all couldn’t help but love it.
Evolve Voltorb
Once you’ve caught yourself a Voltorb, you might feel you know what needs to be done. If you’ve played since gen 1, you know that under normal circumstances, Voltorb evolves under the use of a Thunder stone. However, the Hisui version of Voltorb needs a Leaf Stone to evolve.
Leaf Stone
You can obtain a Leaf Stone in various ways, either by hoping it’ll be a random item drop when catching grass-type Pokemon. But that’s not exactly reliable, instead you can start collecting lost satchels in Hisui. Earning merit points (MP) which you can then spend in the Trade Shop in Jubilife Village. There you’ll be able to find a Leaf Stone.
