Pokemon Legends: Arceus is all about exploring the world of Hisui and experiencing what it would be like to step back in time, where the only electricity you’ll be finding is from those strong Thundershocks your Pikachu is emitting.
On your travels throughout the new region, you’ll not only be catching as many Pokemon as you can to fill up the Pokedex, but you’ll also be taking supplies, ensuring your party survives, and enhancing their abilities in the process. However, instead of the traditional bottomless bag, you’d typically have in newer Pokemon titles, your satchel this time around does have a limited number of slots.
Fortunately, you can expand this storage space to increase the number of items types you can hold on your escapades. It isn’t particularly clear right off the bat how to get this increased on-the-go storage space so below, we’ll be providing you with all the steps you need to ensure you’re never caught out mid-way through an adventure.

As this is a new mechanic in a Pokemon game, the bag space increase option is something that’s fresh for everyone and as stated earlier, isn’t glaringly obvious how to select it. Once you progress to the point where you’ve become a fully-fledged Galaxy Team member, if you go inside the Galaxy Hall there will be an NPC called Bagin. Upon speaking to Bagin he will indicate that he knows a lot about bag space and how to increase your maximum load. If you continue to speak to Bagin he will then offer you the chance to also learn how to add another slot in your bag for a small fee. If you have the cash, you can continuingly increase your bag capacity until it completely maxes out but be warned, the fee increases each time also.
While extremely expensive, especially in the early portion of the game, having more slots in your bag to carry the wide variety of items is essential for not only catching pokemon but also storing everything you need to craft specific tools on the go.
